As a writer, I tend to have a broad imagination. I’m really wanting to dive in to the novel I started a bit ago. From a writers stand point for any of you writers out there, have any of you ever took a step out of your comfort zone and wrote about something you haven’t personally experienced but something that is realistic? Something you don’t know a ton about? Of course research would occur so it could be accurate. I’m not wanting to write any fiction. I’m wanting to write about a person struggling with a drug problem. I feel like it’s every where in the world today. What do you writers think? Readers, do you ever enjoy reading about something you don’t know much about?
Any tips are appreciated, even if it’s not related.
no I haven’t i have a hard time out of my comfort zone, let me know how you do it.
Will do :)
I guess my only advice would be research what you want to write about so that it becomes truth. I’m sure what you write will be great :)
Thank you very much :)
